The posters category is intended to presentations and discussions about ongoing works, in initial or intermediate stage, without final results, but yet relevant and interesting to the conference, whereas the demos category is intended to expose different types of interactive systems, under development or already finished, that can be relevant to the conference, including (but not restricted to): presentation of new solutions for graphic design, digital art installations, design of new interaction styles, design solutions, and others. In both categories, authors that would like to receive constructive feedback from active members of the HCI community are welcome to submit a paper.
The Posters and Demonstrations session may include applied questions, market questions or research questions. Moreover, it is a great opportunity to expose new ideas about academic teaching. Additionally, this is a place where authors can get a "feedback" from the community about their work.
Submissions may be written either in Portuguese or in English, and must follow the ACM SIGCHI Papers ACM SIGCHI. Poster and demo submissions must be anonymized* and contain up to 2 pages (including figures, tables, diagrams, bibliography and annexes). Authors must post their submissions via EasyChair EasyChair), in PDF format.

Authors of accepted posters and demos must register to IHC 2014 to have their paper published in the proceedings and presented at the conference. They will have a presentation session during the event, dedicated for collective and interactive exhibition.
